Desi Tobias recognized as Outstanding Catholic School Graduate

St. Mary Catholic School celebrates its alumni on Feb. 3. All alumni are invited to the Catholic Schools Week Family Day Celebration.

The day begins with a student Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church honoring distinguished alumni and the outstanding business partner of the year.

The National Catholic Educational Association St. Mary Catholic School Distinguished Graduate is the Rev. Stephen G. Vrazel, newly ordained priest and current parochial vicar at St. Pius X Catholic Church. He was a member of the St. Mary Catholic School Class of 1998.

Desi Tobias is the Outstanding Catholic School Graduate. An avid volunteer, Tobias established the St. Mary’s Steve Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament, and has been involved with other campus and school improvement projects. He is a St. Mary Catholic School parent and a 1976 graduate of Holy Family Catholic School. This award is given to the alumnus of a Catholic school that is no longer open.
