Jason S. McCormick

Mr. McCormick was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and was raised in Long Beach, Mississippi. He completed his undergraduate degree at Millsaps College where he received several honors and was a 4-year letterman on the football team. After college, he worked as an environmental consultant at a civil engineering firm, conducting hazardous materials site assessments and wetlands evaluations on numerous projects. In 1999, he received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law. During law school, he was the Executive Editor of the Mississippi Law Journal, was on the Staff of the Journal National Security Law, and served as Research Associate for the Sea Grant Consortium. He was also published in various journals.

 

Mr. McCormick was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 1999. He has practiced law in the Mobile, Alabama, area since that time. Mr. McCormick has been lead and co-counsel representing plaintiffs in numerous cases and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients. His practice areas include trucking accidents, workplace accidents, burn injuries, automobile accidents, product defects, and insurance fraud/bad faith. Mr. McCormick has given several CLE seminars in his areas of practice and has published several articles.

 

Mr. McCormick and his wife Ashley have two children, Isabella and Sage, and live in Fairhope. When he isn’t practicing law, he enjoys coaching, saltwater fly fishing, mountaineering, and distance running.

 

Mr. McCormick is AV rated. He is also listed in Alabama Super Lawyers, and was recognized as one of the Top Attorneys in Alabama by Business Alabama.
